Director of Compliance

The Director of Compliance is responsible for maintaining the SUNY Compliance website and facilitating the activities of the Compliance Steering Committee.  Other formal roles of the Director include:

Nedra Abbruzzese-Werling, CCEP, Director of Compliance
Nedra joined System Administration on March 1, 2012.  Her duties are to establish, coordinate, and maintain a University-wide Compliance program that tracks legislative and regulatory compliance requirements, to create and maintain a SUNY Compliance website that provides information, guidance, and resources on compliance topics that impact SUNY’s 64 campuses, to strengthen communication and training on compliance issues, and to identify compliance systems and experts at various campuses and levels across the University. Nedra is also responsible for maintaining the University-wide policies and procedures web page. Nedra is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, a credential of the Compliance Certification Board.
