SUNY Global Engagement Program

SUNY Global Engagement ProgramThe SUNY Global Engagement Program in New York City provides students with the opportunity to spend a semester immersed in international affairs in the world’s most global city.  Enrolled students do an internship with one of many international organizations along with an integrated class and research program providing a full semester’s worth of credits and a truly unique educational experience.

Housed at the SUNY Global Center and coordinated by SUNY New Paltz Center for International Programs and the Department of Political Science and International Relations, this program offers options to undertake work and study in many fields related to global affairs including politics, education, the arts, the social and natural sciences, and business. New York City provides vast opportunities to secure an internship at any number of important international organizations including those around the United Nations where an array of non-governmental organizations and businesses are based.

The deadline for fall applicants is March 30.
