This webinar will explore multi-level opportunities for adding to or reinforcing gender inclusivity and violence-prevention efforts in various classroom, co-curricular and outreach programming areas within the higher education environment. We will examine Stony Brook University’s “scaffolding” approach to layering education, prevention, and response information and activities into multiple aspects of the first-year student experience, and draw on evidence and experience to discuss effective practices and promising strategies. We’ll identify campus examples to highlight recommendations, and provide opportunities for participants to consider applications within their home institutions.
