“To Protect and Serve”

As a fully empowered law enforcement agency, SAUPD is dedicated to the principles of community policing: a commitment to community empowerment, proactive problem solving, trust building, fostering creativity and support and building for the future.

Our primary mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for the System Administration community. Protecting life and property, preventing and investigating crime, and maintaining public order are among our top priorities.

No police agency is effective without help from the community it serves. Our department's success relies in part on the involvement of the System Administration community. We encourage all employees to become aware of crime prevention practices and to participate in training opportunities.
