Transformation Fund

Transformation Fund

The 2023-2024 New York State enacted budget included $75 million for a Transformation Fund available to all SUNY campuses to support innovation, help meet the workforce needs of the future, enhance student support services, improve academic programs, increase enrollment, and modernize campus operations.

A total of $60 million from the Transformation Fund was distributed directly to all SUNY campuses with each campus invited to choose from a menu of specific allowable uses through submission of a plan to the SUNY System Office of Student Success, which is responsible for monitoring Transformation Fund implementation.
