The SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence acknowledges students for outstanding achievements that have demonstrated the integration of SUNY excellence into many different aspects of their lives, including academics, leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, & justice, campus involvement, civics & service, research & development, or creative and performing arts. It is the highest honor bestowed upon a student by the University.
Congratulations to this year's award recipients! Please Save the Date for the 2026 Awards Ceremony, to be held on April 27th, 2026. The event will take place at the Albany Capital Center in downtown Albany, NY.

Student award recipients should arrive no later than 1:00 p.m. to check in and receive guidance for the ceremony. The awards ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.
Student award recipients can invite four individuals to accompany them to the ceremony. If any recipient or attendee requires disability-related accommodations for access to the event, please reach out to us directly at caseawards@suny.edu as soon as possible. An ASL interpreter will be available at the event. Accessible parking is available at the venue.
