Internships

SUNY Office of General Counsel, located at SUNY Plaza, Albany, New York, hosts two law student interns in the summer. Interns conduct legal research, write guidance memos and draft responses, and participate in short term and long term legal projects. SUNY interns work closely with General Counsel staff as they provide legal consultation to system and campus clients on a broad range of legal areas, including higher education, disability, contracts and transactions, and administrative matters. SUNY OGC interns also have opportunities to present and train audiences large and small, and develop guidance for SUNY and higher education institutions nationwide.

For more information, contact Internship Directors Catherine Tretheway or K. Blaine Miller.
