April 29, 2022 (12:00pm) - SUNY OUTREACH TO UKRAINE - The SUNY COIL Center is organizing a webinar event with Ukrainian professors for Friday, April 29 to create the conditions for student-to-student engagement before this semester ends. These Ukrainian professors are doing everything in their power to keep their classes intact. In this event, SUNY faculty can demonstrate that their Ukrainian counterparts are not alone and that the SUNY COIL Center and SUNY’s Global Learning for All initiative (GLFA) are offering immediate and practical ways for SUNY students to connect to and engage with the world around them. March – May, 2022 SUNY COIL Global Guests Program, organized by Broome CC’s COIL Coordinator Kathleen McKenna. This year’s annual program has gathered 48 faculty members from the COIL Global Network, organized into groups of four, to observe each other’s classrooms and then talk about teaching – across continents and cultures – giving these pre-COILers their first taste of international collaboration.
