Who is invited to the pre-conference institute

This pre-conference institute is being offered to SUNY senior leadership, including Board of Trustees members, Chancellor’s Executive Committee and Cabinet members, presidents and provosts (or designee). Given the importance in today’s diverse society, communicating effectively with people from various cultural backgrounds is critical to being a successful leader. This institute is designed to help identify, examine and address unconscious bias and how it manifests itself within the workplace. Additionally, the institute will serve as a beginning conversation in looking at ways on how to transform organizational culture into one that is truly inclusive and culturally competent.
