SUNY Undergraduate Excellence in Research Award

The SUNY Undergraduate Excellence in Research Award celebrates the scholarship, creativity, and academic achievements of undergraduate students across the SUNY system. This competitive award showcases the breadth and impact of undergraduate research in all disciplines, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, STEM, professional disciplines, and interdisciplinary areas. 

Student awardees will be invited to showcase their work at the annual SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC).

Join the SUNY Academic Affairs Office for an Information Session on the Undergraduate Excellence in Research Award to learn more about this opportunity.

  • Monday, September 28th at 2pm: This session will include information about how to nominate a student, recommended campus processes for soliciting and selecting nominees, and an opportunity for Q&A.
