Eileen Holloway is Senior Campus Counsel in Healthcare for the State University of New York, University at Buffalo. Eileen provides legal advice to UB's five health science schools on a wide variety of healthcare and regulatory matters. In this role, Eileen provides compliance advice on matters involving Stark and anti-kickback; licensure requirements; state and federal confidentiality laws; compliance plans for certain clinics; telemedicine; informed consent; FERPA; clinical research matters, including IRB issues and clinical trial agreements; professional service agreements; student affiliation agreements; vendor contracts; corporate governance matters; conflict of interest; student dismissals; and the information blocking provisions of the Cures Act.
Prior to joining SUNY, Eileen served as Senior Counsel to the University of Rochester Medical Center for nineteen years, serving as lead counsel in 80+ practice acquisitions and representing the Medical Center in thousands of contractual arrangements to ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal laws, and to further the University's strategic goals.
