What is BCI?

Building Characteristics Inventory (BCI) is used to record the characteristics of a building.  The data is entered when any one of these changes occur:

  1. A new building will be constructed or
  2. There are renovations to an existing building that will change its characteristics (i.e. increase or decrease of square footage)or
  3. A building has been demolished or
  4. A building is no longer being used by the college.

If the characteristics of a building change a BCI Update Form must be completed and sent to The Fund and Office for Capital Facilities.  BCI User Guide

What is PSI?

Physical Space Inventory (PSI) is used to record all space within a building.  The PSI system is open for a limited time of the year (from the time it is unfrozen until the end of December).  Updates to PSI can only be done when it is open.
