Program Advisor
Engin Asci is the Program Advisor in the SUNY Office in Turkey. He has held his position since July 2024. He received a bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching from Anadolu University. Previously, he worked as an English Language teacher for sixteen years. During his career as a teacher, he has attended many Research and Development meetings, conferences such as MUN, in-service trainings, and received certificates from the leading companies in the field of education such as Oxford Publishing, Cambridge University Press, and Pearson Publishing. These trainings and conferences mostly included subjects like “upgrading communication skills with students and parents, using web tools for education, modern approaches in classroom management.” He has also worked as a personal mentor.
Besides his teaching career, he has also managed to have a Grade 8 certificate with a distinction degree from Trinity College London Music School.
In his current role, his responsibilities include recruitment, advising students and marketing of the dual diploma programs and SUNY.
