Jennifer (Jen) GallagherInternational Programs Manager
Jen Gallagher is the International Programs Manager within the Office of Global Affairs. She is responsible for the oversight and management of international strategic partnership initiatives in support of the Vice Chancellor for Global Affairs. She also works with functional areas within SUNY System Administration, SUNY campuses, and the SUNY Research Foundation to provide comparative analysis of federal and state policies for the US and international targeted countries, maintaining a policy matrix for SUNY compliance.
Jen previously served as the Director of Government Relations – Policy, Public Affairs and Protocol for the Unted States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. In this capacity, she led coordination between national sport federations, the Department of State focusing on visa matters and diplomacy programming, and Congressional policy development. She also led the Olympic/Paralympic Coordination Office within the U.S. Embassy in the Games host country and the attending White House delegation’s activities. She earned a Master in Sports Management from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University and participated in study abroad programs in Cuba and Australia.
