The SUNY Faculty Council of Community Colleges conducts two plenary meetings each year: one during the Fall Semester and one during the Spring Semester. The plenary meetings are hosted by one of our 30 community college campuses from across the state.
Delegates meet to discuss issues of importance to community colleges in New York State. Resolutions on these issues are presented for consideration by the delegates. Presentations are made by the SUNY Board Chairman, SUNY Chancellor, and various SUNY System Administration Representatives, including the SUNY Provost, and Vice-Chancellor for Community Colleges, Senior Vice Chancellor for Student Success and Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development and Upward Mobility; governance partners from SUNY's University Faculty Senate (UFS), and Student Assembly, the CUNY University Faculty Senate; and liaisons from our Community College sector partners: the SUNY Association of Chief Academic Officers (ACAO), the New York Community College Association of Presidents (NYCCAP), the Community College Business Officers Association (CCBOA) and the New York Community College Trustees (NYCCT).
