Education Initiatives Committee

Committee Charge

The Education Initiatives Committee serves as a source of professional advice and guidance to the Faculty Council on matters relating to emerging academic issues. The Committee's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Investigating educational initiatives that may affect community colleges
• Participating in committees and other entities dealing with new and proposed educational initiatives to ensure shared governance
• Disseminating information regarding educational initiatives to FCCC delegates, alternates, and campus governance leaders
• Collaborating with the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and others as needed
